Situation : A series of self initiated screenings and talks in celebration of innovative gadgetry and resourceful ingenuity where those attending exchanged information
Context : investigatory phase of Airfield residency
Predicament : the screening of Fischli and Weiss ‘The Way Things Go’ was at odds with the formal library of the old house
Solution : screen the film in the gardeners potting shed surrounded by the objects which appear in the film.
